Lithium batteries will start to degrade over time due to problems inherent to the technology. In your iPhone, this usually starts to become noticeable after 2 years of use. You may find the battery runs down too quickly, or takes a long time to charge.

Due to improvements in battery technology, we can offer higher capacity batteries than the original for most older iPhone models.

About Your iPhone 8

The iPhone 8 was released in 2017.

It has a 4.7″ LCD display and a 1821mAh lithium-ion battery.

You can tell it’s an iPhone 8 by the glass rear of the phone, unlike the previous iPhone 7 which had a solid metal rear. There is only a lightning port on the bottom and the home button is also a Touch ID sensor.
