Lithium batteries will start to degrade over time due to problems inherent to the technology. In your iPhone, this usually starts to become noticeable after 2 years of use. You may find the battery runs down too quickly, or takes a long time to charge.
Due to improvements in battery technology, we can offer higher capacity batteries than the original for most older iPhone models.

iPhone X Charging Port Replacement
There are a few common things that cause your iPhone to stop charging. Dirt and fluff in the port, liquid damage, or sometimes even a poor quality charging cable can damage the contacts inside the port. Whatever the reason, if you can’t charge your iPhone, it makes it pretty useless.
